Laser Labels Setup for Word 2003 and 2007

Microsoft Word 2003 - 6 Up Laser Labels Setup
- Select "Tools" from your toolbar.
- Select "Envelopes and Labels", or (for other versions of Word) select "Letters & Mailing" and then select "Envelopes and Labels".
- Select the "Labels" tab at the top if not already selected.
- Select "Options".
- Choose "Laser and Ink Jet" under the printer information area and indicate the tray you will be using to feed the labels.
- Under "Label Products" choose "Avery Standard".
- Under Product Number choose 5164.
- Click "OK". This returns you to the "Labels" tab under Envelope and Labels.
- Type in the information that you want printed on the label.
- Click to the left of the 1st line before the 1st word. Hit "Enter" four times. This should bring the information down far enough that it will print in the "To:" area of the label. You may need to adjust the number of spaces depending on your label.
- Highlight all of the information that you typed and right click.
- Choose "Paragraph"
- Under alignment, use the drop down arrow and choose "centered".
- Select "New Document".
- This will give you a preview of your laser sheet. If everything looks ok, insert a plain piece of paper and print a test copy. Lay the test copy over the label sheet to see that everything will fit correctly.

Microsoft Word 2007- 6 Up Laser Labels Setup
- Select "Mailings" tab from your toolbar.
- Select "Labels" in the upper left of your toolbar.
- Select the "Labels" tab at the top if not already selected.
- Select "Options".
- Choose "Page Printers" under the printer information area and indicate the tray you will be using to feed the labels.
- Under "Label Vendor" choose "Avery US Letter".
- Under "Product Numbers" choose 5164.
- Click "OK". This returns you to the "Labels" tab under Envelope and Labels.
- Type in the information that you want printed on the label.
- Click to the left of the 1st line before the 1st word. Hit "Enter" four times. This should bring the information down far enough that it will print in the "To:" area of the label. You may need to adjust the number of spaces depending on your label.
- Highlight all of the information that you typed and right click.
- Choose "Paragraph"
- Under alignment, use the drop down arrow and choose "centered" click "ok".
- Select "New Document".
- This will give you a preview of your laser sheet. If everything looks ok, insert a plain piece of paper and print a test copy. Lay the test copy over the label sheet to see that everything will fit correctly.
